I just watched Julie and Julia, such an excellent movie I haven't seen for years. In my life, I think I'm one of Julies, who's soooooooo obsessed with food and everything relevant with food. I'm a Chinese girl who's finishing my Master degree in Chemical Engineering in USA. Thanks to the oven in the apartment that I rent, I start to learn to how to cook, how to bake food from the recipes I found online. I have already a blog in Chinese, which has 580,000 hit and thousands of reply from my readers. Basically, I like to cook authentic Chinese food which I have to feed myself everyday. Also, I fell in love in baking at the moment when I accomplished my first chiffon cake! So now, I am proud of myself and think myself as a kind of half-pro chef~
I just learned to cook when I stepped on USA's land, so I've been cooking for about 2 years. I once think that, hmmmm, maybe oneday, I could show up in the Food Network, teaching people how to cook real Chinese food at home! I've tasted the food in Panda Express, PF Cheng's, that's so not Chinese!!! Well, I will start my English blogging life right here, right now. Probably, I should set up a schedule for myself like what Julie did in the Movie!!!
